SAN PEDRO

The San Pedro which runs parallel to the YO-257, was a decommissioned hospital ship that was sunk in 1996 to create an artificial reef for SCUBA diving. she rests in 85 ft. / 26 m of water, with the deck at 60 ft. / 18 m and the top of the wheel house at 50 ft./ 15 m. Unfortunately, due to a hurricane or two, this wreck is in poor condition. There are usually sharks inside and turtles sitting on the deck. A large variety of eels call this wreck home.

If you are very good on air we can also supply NITROX which would extend your bottom time substantially. There are several other specialties that you could complete while diving with Alex's Aquatic Adventures, these would include deep, multilevel, nitrox and of course wreck diving

There are plastic slates made up of the of the wreck diving sites they are great for your logbook. They have three holes in them for your ring binder. Great for showing people where you went in the wreck they are priced at only $10 each. We have them with us in the van there are five that make up the set buy four get one free. Obviously a $10 saving

There are two slates for this wreck.
