3 DAY PADI OPEN WATER COURSE

So it is now time to overstimulate the visual cortex and observe the amazing aquatic realm. While you explore the diverse creatures of the underwater realm. But I warn you this will become very addictive and unfortunately there is no medication. The only cure is to go on vacation and go back to the aquatic realm.This is great medicine, also as a bonus we will turn you into a SAFE PADI DIVER.

Definitely the better diving experience compared to the 2 day Open Water Certification (not so rushed). We provide you with a confined water session, two days of boat diving. Two dives each day (totalling 4 dives) with a bottom time of up to 45 minutes for each dive air permitting (bottom time is a phrase used by divers which describes the amount of time under water)

The Deluxe 2 day course does have four boat dives with the same dive time this is why it is slightly more expensive. each dive is still 45 minutes (air permitting) Not 20 minute dives like the two-day $325 course. You also go out on the boat twice not once like the cheaper course.

When you arrive in Hawaii, for your SCUBA diving lessons. We will meet you at your hotel in Waikiki, to give you your PADI study materialsl and the PADI DVD. For your Open Water Certification you will need to complete three knowledge reviews and watch the DVD. If you do not have a laptop with you, a 7" DVD player is available for loan. (FREE OF CHARGE) The questions in the knowledge reviews are in the same order as they are presented on the DVD. This makes completing the knowledge reviews and self-study easier. It's all very straight forward. This is not rocket science we give it to 10-year-olds.

Day One: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (depending on you)

We collect you from your hotel in Waikiki, at approximately 1pm for the confined water session. This is a shallow body of water where you will practice the skills required for SCUBA diving course. which you have viewed on the DVD. At this time, a PADI Instructor will give you a verbal description of each skill. He will then demonstrate the skills for you to observe. Then it is your turn to demonstrate the skill for the PADI Instructor. This takes anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on you. Your PADI Instructor will give you all the time necessary to make sure you are ready for the open water SCUBA diving portion of your course..

Day Two: 10:45am – 3:00pm

We collect you from your hotel in Waikiki, at approximately 10:45am and depart for the SCUBA diving boat. We will complete two dives to a maximum depth of 40 feet. PADI standards mandate that a SCUBA diving instructor is only allowed to take you to 40 feet on the first two dives. We include some of the skills that you learn in confined water during these dives. We will be finished with your boat dives at approximately 3:00pm. At this time, we will return you to your hotel. The rest of the day is your own.

Day Three: 10:45am – 7:00pm (depending on you)

We collect you from your hotel in Waikiki, at approximately 10:45am and depart for the SCUBA diving boat. We will complete two dives to a maximum depth of 60 feet. PADI standards mandate a maximum allowable depth for dives three and four of 60 feet. We will finish all the remaining SCUBA diving skills necessary to complete your PADI Open Water Certification. We will be finished with the boat dives at approximately 3:00pm. At this time we will grab a late lunch and begin the SCUBA exams and lectures. This should take around 2 hours to cover the fundamentals of SCUBA diving and the recreational dive planner. It's test time. You will be given a 50 multiple choice question test. It is fairly straight forward and simple. Upon completion, you are now a PADI Open Water Certified Diver! All that's left is some administrative paperwork for your temporary Certification Card or "C-Card" and complete your SCUBA Logbook. It's time to go back to your hotel now. Congratulations!
