So it is now time to overstimulate the visual cortex and observe the amazing aquatic realm. While you explore the diverse creatures of the underwater realm. But I warn you this will become very addictive and unfortunately there is no medication. The only cure is to go on vacation and go back to the aquatic realm.This is great medicine, also as a bonus we will turn you into a SAFE PADI DIVER.

When you arrive in Hawaii, for your SCUBA diving lessons. We will meet you at your hotel in Waikiki to give you your PADI study materialsl and PADI DVD. For your open water certification you will need to complete three knowledge reviews and watch the DVD. If you do not have a laptop with you, a 7" DVD player is available for loan. (FREE OF CHARGE) The questions in the knowledge reviews are in the same order as they are presented on the DVD. This makes completing the knowledge reviews and self-study easier. It's all very straight forward.

The biggest difference between the two day certification course and the two-day Deluxe certification course. Is in a nutshell you get twice as much bottom time (a diving term for the amount of time spent underwater) This course is four boat dives no beach dives. So the extra cost is for the extra time on the boat as we take two trips not one. Instead off four 20 minute dives you get four 45 minute dives (Air permitting) In my opinion you are paying to go SCUBA diving so the extra time underwater is worth the extra $115. If things are tight which we understand in this economy the two-day certification course at $325 is an excellent value.

DAY ONE:10:45 AM to 6 PM (depending on you)

We collect you from your hotel in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii at approximately 10:45 AM we depart for the SCUBA diving boat. We will do two DISCOVER SCUBA dives to maximum depth of 40 feet. (PADI standards mandate that a PADI SCUBA instructor may only take non-certified divers to a maximum depth of 40 feet with a maximum ratio of 4 divers to 1 PADI instructor.) We will be finished with our boat dives at approximately 3 PM. There will be time to relax and grab some lunch and prepare for the confined water session where you will practice all the SCUBA diving skills essential for SAFE SCUBA diving. The confined water sessions will take place in a shallow body of water. Where you will practice all the SCUBA diving skills that you have seen on the PADI SCUBA diving DVD. Your PADI instructor will give you a verbal description of each SCUBA diving skill, followed by a physical demonstration. Now it is your turn to replicate the skill in front of your PADI instructor. We will complete the confined water session anywhere between 4:30 PM and 6 PM. ( this all depends on you) But be assured we will take the time necessary to get you comfortable with the next step.

DAY TWO: 10:45 AM to 6 PM (depending on you)

We collect you from your hotel in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii at approximately 10:45 AM and drive to the SCUBA diving boat to complete the remaining SCUBA dives necessary for your PADI Open Water Certification. We will be finished with our boat dives at approximately 3 PM. It will be time to dry off and get ready for the exams and lectures. Do not panic. This is not rocket science. This is the same test we administer to our 10 year old divers. The SCUBA diving lectures normally take approximately 2 hours. We will go over the recreational dive planner and the fundamentals of SCUBA diving. At the end of the lectures there will be a 50 question, multiple choice exam. There are no trick questions and if you have completed your Knowledge Reviews successfully, passing your exam should be a breeze. Once you've complete the exam we will then finish off paperwork for your PADI Open Water Certification. Fill out your Certification temporary card and your SCUBA diving logbook. It is now time to celebrate your achievement of becoming a scuba diver.
