Anglers Reef - Hello, welcome to today's dive reports from the beautiful island of Oahu. We were diving on the east side of the island. The customers were very lucky that they had a private charter. I jumped into the water for the morning the visibility was approximately 80 feet surface conditions very choppy 30 mph winds. At this point I had a NAUI course director that was very happy for me not to get in the water. So unfortunately there are no pictures and I cannot tell you anything more about the dive.
ko ko craters - The second dive they were happy for me to lead. Navigation here is a lot more difficult as it is five extinct volcanic craters. On this dive I managed to find two turtles one flounder and lots of reef fish. The visibility was still very good 80 to 90 feet little bit of a current. The surface was still very choppy with 30 MPH winds. On the way home the divers complains that the reef dives was not that good and the coral was dead. As I've said on many occasions before the reef diving here in Hawaii is not spectacular because we have hard coral not soft. The customers insisted on doing two shallow reef dives which is what we did.
