PADI PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY
Incredible price only $150
What is neutral buoyancy? You are neutrally buoyant when you neither sink or float and can hover in one place. Without a doubt the hardest skill to master. Divers who've mastered the art of buoyancy control stand apart. It takes 20 to 30 dives to master this skill. The peak performance buoyancy course can speed up this process.
The purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Certification course is to get you to the point where you are not using your buoyancy compensator device (BCD) continually throughout the dive. One of the keys is being properly weighted. This is the biggest problem with new SCUBA divers as they overweight themselves thinking they cannot sink without a ton of weight. Also, throughout the PADI Peak Performance Certification course we will show you how to adjust your depth using the biggest buoyancy compensator you have with you…your lungs. By wearing the correct amount of weight, you can change your depth by 50 feet up or down without using the buoyancy compensator device. Once you surface the buoyancy compensator device is very important to keep you floating while you make it back to shore or boat. We will also show you the proper techniques for sinking the first 10 feet, which is the hardest part. This fact misleads new divers into thinking they need lots of weight.
Peak performance buoyancy certification course is completed in one day. We collect you from your Hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii, at approximately 10:45am then proceed to the SCUBA diving boat just west of Waikiki. We will complete two shallow SCUBA dives at two different locations at maximum depth of 40 feet. Shallow water is the hardest place to maintain buoyancy and is precisely why this certification course is conducted in shallow water. Alex's Aquatic Adventure, will return you to your hotel at approximately 3:30pm. At this time we will complete your logbook (please bring them with you) and the paperwork required by PADI so you can receive your Peak Performance Certification card.
